  You're makin me blush! 1/24/2008 02:06:00 PM
<--PREVIOUS  NEXT-->

I think blush is a little bit tricky. I think where most people go wrong is by putting too much blush on. I have done this many times, and it does not look pretty at all! In this case, less is truly more. Also, where you apply the blush is really important. If it's a light colored blush like the Benefit Dandelion, put it on the apples of your cheeks. It gives your face a nice glow and color. This is my favorite blush for a natural, girly look.

This is more for a girls night out look. You lightly sweep the brush so that half of the brush is pink and the other half is bronze. With the pink side up, sweep across the apples of your cheeks all the way up to the hairline. The bottom will be bronze to contour your cheeks with a little pink makes you ultra sexy. ;)

This is something I haven't tried yet. It's called Thrrrob from Benefit. It has a really catchy name! Great marketing strategy. So I read their description from Benefitcosmetics.com, and it says that "this pink powder simulates the natural flush you get when your heart races." You apply the brush along your cheeks, forehead, and chin.
Has anyone tried this product yet??

what's a good blush to use that gives you that glow. i like powder blush but sometimes they come off really easily. do you know of a good blush that gives a really good shine but also takes on for a really long time.

I like Neutrogena's Shimmer Sheers creme blush. They come in little lipgloss-like tubes and supposedly, you can use it as eye shadow or lip stain as well. I only recommend using it as a blush because as a lip stain, I find it extremely drying. Anyway, I use number 60, Mystified. I'd rather use powder blush too because of my oily t-zone, BUT for staying power and when I go out at night, I go with this one. A little bit goes a long way too! What do you suggest, Say?
I'm going to write another article about Revlon's Pinch Me liquid blush and to summarize, it sucks. I'm returning it to Rite Aid tomorrow.

If you don't like the powdered blushes, try the liquid tint blushes. It looks sooo natural and stays on long. All you do is dab a little bit onto your fingertips and rub into ur apples. Benefit has a really good one called Benetint. Try it out!

Where do you buy benefit makeup?

You can buy BENEFIT make up in any department stores like Macy's or Nordstrom. Sephora also carries Benefit makeup. You should be able to find them easily! Good luck :)

You can also go to www.benefitcosmetics.com and order online or find a store near you. You can also sign up for a catalog there. I usually go to Macy's. Most department stores should carry it.
