I don't know how other people feel about Victoria Beckham, but I actually think she's quite a fashionista. She looks picture perfect at every moment. Her life is a fashion show. Now, wouldn't that be nice?! I received her book as a Christmas gift from my sister. I was excited to see what advices Victoria wrote in her book. She has a few good tips I agree with such as cover your legs if your top is bare. She also says that she never ever wears track suits or flats outside of the house. That part made me cringe a little bit, because I wear flats and I love wearing track suits OUTSIDE of the house (winter time only)! She tells you how to wear jeans, blouses, knee length skirts, and shoes. I've actually learned quite a few things.
- Your bra doesn't have to match your knickers, but make sure you buy one that fits. Not everyone can afford a boob job - not that I've had one, mind, and even if I had, I would never have one as obvious as some people I can think of - and there's nothing worse than a bit of droop, if you get my meaning, girls! And do keep your thongs inside your jeans, unless they come from Agent Provocateur.
- You can never spend too much money on hair and beauty products, unless you haven't got any. Using cheap shampoo makes your hair lifeless - and no one wants to look like they've got extensions. Finally, don't be afraid to be yourself. We all make mistakes from time to time. I once wore an Armani dress to a Dolce & Gabbana party! How dumb was that?
- As you all know, the crucial accessory for me is a good pair of sunglasses. If you ever wondered why I’m always wearing them it’s very simple: as a mum, I often don’t get that much sleep, I don’t always have time to put on the Touche Eclat in the mornings, and who can be bothered putting on eye shadow first thing in the day anyway? So instead, I just throw the Chanel sunglasses…This is why I often tend to go for the sunglasses with dark mirrored lenses.
It's a really quick, good read. Most of the pages are pictures of herself. She is quite charming with her words. Pretty entertaining!
